SOL 3: Ruby’s First Pet

Back in October my husband brought home a sickly calf from one of our other farms.  At first Ruby wasn’t sure of our new barn resident but over the last few months she has grown attached to the calf.

The calf was named Luther, and now Ruby will pouts when the feeding are done without her. Every morning at 5am she tags along while my husband feeds and checks Luther’s water. Every night the minute I walk in the door she is ready to head to the barn for evening feeding. Each time her excitement spreading as she sprints to the barn. While we do the feeding she loves to try to conveniently him to play with her through the fence by running and jumping from this side to that. She has become a responsible pet owner.
